10 Helix Player

Allez sur https://player.helixcommunity.org/ et cliquez sur le lien Helix Player 11 Gold Linux x86 rpm :

Puis installez le paquet comme indiqué dans le chapitre 9 (Skype).

11 Picasa

Allez sur http://picasa.google.com/linux/download.html#picasa30 et sélectionnez le rpm, pour Red Hat/Fedora/Suse/Mandriva i386 ou x86_64 :

Puis installez le paquet comme indiqué dans le chapitre 9 (Skype).

12 Google Earth

Pour installer Google Earth, ouvrez un terminal et devenez root :

su

Puis exécutez

cd /home/falko/Desktop  
wget http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthLinux.bin

chmod 755 GoogleEarthLinux.bin  
./GoogleEarthLinux.bin --target /tmp/ge  
cd /tmp/ge/setup.data/bin/Linux/x86/  
mv setup.gtk setup.gtk2  
cd /tmp/ge  
./setup.sh

Cela téléchargera Google Earth et commencera l’installation. Une fenêtre de configuration de Google Earth s’ouvre. Acceptez tous les paramètres par défaut et cliquez sur Commencer l’installation :

Après l’installation, vous pouvez cliquer sur Quitter ou sur Démarrer, si vous souhaitez lancer Google Earth maintenant :

Ensuite, nous supprimons l’installateur de Google Earth :

cd /home/falko/Desktop  
rm -f GoogleEarthLinux.bin
